Cure for Bad Breath

If you have allowed bad breath to cripple your happiness in the past and now sick and tired of spending money on breath mints, expensive mouthwashes, and other dental products, this blog on how to cure bad breath is just meant for you.

Before we read about how to treat bad breath, let us first read about the causes of foul breath.

Bad breath is caused by many factors including bad dental hygiene, dentures, bacteria in mouth, plaque, tooth decay, excessive use of alcohol-based mouthwash, deficiency of Zinc or vitamin B, smoking, and throat infection.

How to treat bad breath?

It is important for you to brush your teeth in morning, in the evening, and after every meal, especially after consuming meat, fish, and milk products. It is highly recommended that you use a soft bristle toothbrush and work slowly on the teeth for at least 4-5 minutes. It is also recommended that you replace the toothbrush as soon as you notice damaged bristles. Eating plain yogurt for a period of six weeks can sweeten your breath while rinsing the mouth with a glass of water and juice of half a lemon before sleep is a good option. It is also recommended that you should act immediately if you feel buildup on your teeth or tongue as food gets wedged between teeth and can rot them quickly, which can further lead to teeth and gum damage besides resulting in bad breath.

Last but not the least, you cannot consider yourself safe against dental problems just because you have been safe against them in the past. Bad breath can happen to any one and no one is an exception.
