Project Immunize Virginia is a team of energetic and innovative health professionals, business and community members that believe every community in the Commonwealth can be free of vaccine-preventable disease by increasing immunizations across the lifespan. PIV achieves this by promoting partnerships and using effective strategies among its member organizations throughout the Commonwealth.

Promote timely immunizations across the lifespan.

Promote and provide public and professional immunization education.
Advocate for immunization policies that support nationally recommended immunization practice.
Develop resources and partnerships to grow and sustain PIV.
Partnerships
Project Immunize Virginia is supported by partnership between the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Immunizations, and Eastern Virginia Medical School. PIV also secures grants, sponsorship, and donations for projects from foundations, pharmaceutical companies, and other available sources.
